Rebecca Yarros, way to leave me wanting more and with a major book hangover!
WILDER is a book I knew I would love, but did not expect to love as much as I do. This novel pulled me in and did not let me go, and I’ve got permanent heart eyes over this one, especially for the characters.
At first encounter, Paxton Wilder is that guy you really think you are going to hate, but then end up totally loving with every bit of your heart. I mean, what’s not to love about a smooth-talking, charming adrenaline junkie? Answer: There is everything to love. Oh, and did I mention that he’s not alone? Nope, Paxton and all his best friends are getting their thrills onboard an international cruise ship with a bunch of other college students for the next 9 months. But it’s not just the flips and tricks that will have you loving Paxton, it’s also every little thing he says to his tutor, Leah. (See above quote for reference.)
Leah is definitely not what I would label an adrenaline junkie, but she has no other choice than to tutor Paxton Wilder if she wishes to stay onboard the Study at Sea program. And let’s just say that when these two get together, the chemistry is INSANE. However, both have their own baggage that they carry and if you combine that with the action, the tricks, and the TWISTS, you get WILDER (i.e. one hell of a wild ride).
I gave in to the adventure of my life. What a way to fall.
WILDER is another sweet, sexy, perfect New Adult read by Rebecca Yarros. It also might just be my favorite of hers! 😀
I am so excited to get to know the other characters in the Renegade family because I already feel like I’ve gone on one wild ride with them all, and I need more ASAP.
