The Edge of Never by J. A. Redmerski
Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett had always been one to think out-of-the-box, who knew she wanted something more in life than following the same repetitive patterns and growing old with the same repetitive life story. And she thought that her life was going in the right direction until everything fell apart.
Determined not to dwell on the negative and push forward, Camryn is set to move in with her best friend and plans to start a new job. But after an unexpected night at the hottest club in downtown North Carolina, she makes the ultimate decision to leave the only life she’s ever known, far behind.
With a purse, a cell phone and a small bag with a few necessities, Camryn, with absolutely no direction or purpose boards a Greyhound bus alone and sets out to find herself. What she finds is a guy named Andrew Parrish, someone not so very different from her and who harbors his own dark secrets. But Camryn swore never to let down her walls again. And she vowed never to fall in love.
But with Andrew, Camryn finds herself doing a lot of things she never thought she’d do. He shows her what it’s really like to live out-of-the-box and to give in to her deepest, darkest desires. On their sporadic road-trip he becomes the center of her exciting and daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But will Andrew’s dark secret push them inseparably together, or tear them completely apart?
Giselle’s Review:
The Edge of Never is the type of novel that stays with you, because in some ways, you wish you could live inside the pages of this novel. That is exactly how I felt. The Edge of Never is an extremely well-written, romantic, and heart-wrenching book.
Andrew and Camryn take you on a journey you will never forget. I am a huge fan of novels that deal with road trips, and just plain out living in the moment, and that is exactly what this novel promotes. Camryn does exactly what I wish I could do sometimes and hopefully one day I can go on a spontaneous road trip, and maybe even find myself an Andrew of my own. 😉
Oh Andrew. Andrew is a book boyfriend I will never forget. He made me laugh, cry, and definitely pulled some sexy smirks from me.
The Edge of Never is a definite must read, cause holy hell, it was sexy, beautiful, inspiring, and so much more! J. A. Redmerski is what I like to call a MAGNIFICENT author, and I recommend all her books!
Lissy’s Review:
The Edge of never is the perfect story about leaving everything behind to find yourself, and the unexpected things you will find along the way. It is one of those books that makes you want to get up from your couch, pause netflix, and do what you have been really wanting with your life. It will have you wanting to jump on the next bus to any city near or far.
Where do I even begin with Camryn and Andrew. Anyone will clearly be able to see the romance and sexual tension between these two from the moment they meet. The journey they embark on together will have your eyes glued to the pages, and wishing you could live the journey yourself. Their story is definitely one that I will never forget. It is witty and playful, heart-warming and wrenching, all perfectly fitting together to make this book the amazing must read that it is.
I connected with this book very much because it is a lot like the life i wish to live: spontaneous road trips, no planning, no rules, just the open road and a sexy guy to share the experience with. J.A Redmerski did an amazing job at capturing the true spirit of her characters and sending them on a whirl-winding experience that will definitely make readers, like myself, jealous.
The Edge of Never is the perfect read! It will have you on the edge of your seat (see what i did there(;) It gives everyone that motivational push to do what your heart desires! It is passionate, sexy, and everything you could want in a romance novel.
