Confession: When I started Bad Penny I did not think I was going to like it. And I will admit, it was mostly because I thought I was not going to like Penny. It might have been due to the fact that right from the start we see her IDGAF, brash and brazen (and very bawdy) personality, and it was not what I was expecting. However, this is what made her so unique and ended up making her and this story an unforgettable one!
After getting used to Penny’s extremely risqué attitude (and then loving everything about it) I could not put this book down! It’s been taking me longer than usual to finish a book (I’m looking and you Grey’s) but I breezed through this one in two days. It sucked me in and after cracking me up and turning up the temperature, it left me thoroughly entertained and satisfied.
Penny and Bodie’s relationship during the novel was scorching hot, funny, and basically what I imagine to be everyone’s #goals! Their story managed to be both adorable and sexy AF, which was something I greatly appreciated, and the drama/angst that was added to the pot made the whole thing even better.
Staci Hart has written one BAD B that I totally wish I could be friends with IRL…or one that I just wish I could be! I’ll take either option please!!! 😉

About the Author
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey.
From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
