Author: Megan Erickson
Series: Bowler University #3
Genre: New Adult, Contemporary Romance
Publication: January 6th, 2014 by William Morrow Impulse
After graduating from Bowler University, the last place Cam Ruiz ever expected to find himself is his hometown. A bad job as a bouncer and worry over his mom’s health make living in Paradise anything but. There’s only one thing that can make his return any harder—running into the only girl he’s ever loved.
Tate Ellison made a mistake when she was eighteen, one that cost her the best thing she’s ever had. She’s always hoped the regret of losing Cam would fade over time. Too bad it’s only grown. She took comfort in the fact she’d never have to face him again, so his presence in Paradise throws her for a loop.
The pull between them is instant and when the truth of what happened years ago tumbles out, they share a mind-blowing kiss…which leads to more. But the past has a way of repeating itself. When all the cards are on the table, Cam and Tate must decide what they are willing to do to make it last.
Giselle’s Review:
Yes. Yes. Yes. This book did in fact give me all the feels. Talk about a completely swoon-worth book. Make It Last is funny, adorable, sexy, and the perfect conclusion to the Bowler University series.
Cam is impossible not to fall for and you can’t help but to love Tate too and root for these two high school sweethearts. The tension these two share and the chemistry is just- holy moly so perfect.
Once again Megan has completely blown me away with her writing skills and the dialogue which just flowed oh so naturally and beautifully and once again had me swooning and smiling and laughing.
“You’re doing that thing where you’re trying not to smile.” “No I’m not.” She cocked her head. “Your lips are twitching, you liar.”
One of the things that I loved about this novel was that everything worked so well. The plot was magnificent and I just freaking loved loved loved it. I wouldn’t have changed a thing and that made me enjoy this novel so much more.
This second chance romance is one you won’t want to miss. Hell, you won’t want to miss out on this entire romantic as hell series. Cam and Tate’s love story will consume you and if you’re like me, you won’t be able to put this book down until it’s over. <3
Silvana’s Review:
And so it came. The conclusion of the Bowler University series. I’m actually really sad right now because I have come to love quite a lot this series. Every character had something to give, and I felt more complete with each passing book.
It’s Cam’s turn now. I was so excited and kicking and punching the air for this book. By the teasers and all of Megan’s excitement, she just made it all more excited to me. It was no doubt that from the first page, Cam and Tate’s love story took my heart.
What I like more about Megan’s book is that her writing makes me want to read more. And more. And more. Her writing is so powerful and so compelling; it’s bewitching you and telling you to read the next page, the next chapter, the whole book. It just feels so real and so genuine and it makes you love the characters even more than you already had. And I probably will always say that this series is one of my favorites, all three of them give me something to learn and to see and I feel pretty great after reading them. They are like a shot of cupcakes and hot guys together? Huh…
I never really thought I’d love Cam just as much as I love him when reading. Before I didn’t think a lot of him? I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m all in for Megan’s books so when I found out there was one for Cam, I was all hell yes with everyone. But really, Alec was my first love, and then he came, Max, and I was thinking how can Megan surpass those two? It was not a matter of “surpassing” them but complimenting the series and their stories together. And CAM WAS A BIG PART AND HE WAS MISSING. His story fit perfectly. It is an amazing second-chance romance of him and Tate. And I fell in love with it since the start.
So now that I can see and read all books together, it feels COMPLETE. It feels right. It feels like this series is probably going to make me cry every time I see something about it or reread it. It has that reality that it could happen to anyone and it could happen to you.
I always say, and feel, a bit “ehh” with second-chance romance. And I said it to Megan when I finished, that the thing I loved the most about it is the thing “you were my first love and never mind there were other people in between when we separated, you’ll be my last.” And it was their story, that was the story. Tate did something that I thought at the beginning, “I’m not gonna forgive her for that” but Megan and her tricks prove me wrong. I fell in love with Tate. I don’t know, I don’t think Cam could be with anyone but Tate. They are just two persons that you think yeah they will date and marry and have kids. They are for each other. *can you see me swooning and breaking down crying*
I’M SO FRIGGING EXCITED FOR MORE MEGAN ERICKSON BOOKS. GIVE ME ALL.

Megan Erickson grew up in a family that averages 5’5” on a good day and started writing to create characters who could reach the top kitchen shelf.
She’s got a couple of tattoos, has a thing for gladiators and has been called a crazy cat lady. After working as a journalist for years, she decided she liked creating her own endings better and switched back to fiction.
She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kids and two cats. And no, she still can’t reach the stupid top shelf.
A little something extra. 🙂
