Eating and Spending My Way Through London

If you’re reading this it must mean I managed to get my life (somewhat) in order and that is overall great news! So I asked you guys on my Instagram what you wanted to see next up on my blog and while it was a close tie (and I’ll be posting my Copenhagen Travel Guide soon), today you get the London recs. (so far)!

1. Tower Bridge (City of London)

When you’re visiting London you have to at least hit up one touristy spot and I was lucky enough to get to go on a boat tour (10/10) with my class and see all the gorgeous architecture in London.

2. Eggbreak London (Notting Hill)

This place was soooooo good! If you’re a fan of eggs for brunch (or any time), I definitely recommend Eggbreak, but be warned, there will probably be a 20+ minute wait during peak brunch times and you have to wait outside so bundle up during the winter!

3. The Orangery at Kensington Palace

So I actually came here when I visited London for Spring Break but I’m most definitely going again because it was such a wonderful place for high tea and it was only like 28 pounds which is cheap for such a nice high tea spot.

4. Tate Modern (City of London)

While I’m not a huge art follower, going to museums in London is definitely a must do while here as they are 1) free and 2) gorgeous!

5. Camden Market (Camden Town)

If you’re going to hit up Camden Market (which I highly recommend) you’ll find a bunch of different markets with food trucks and shopping stables and bars and it’s SUCH a good time. I’m a huge fan of The Mac Factory, The Black Gull Bookshop and The Cereal Killer Cafe is definitely cool and worth the visit.

6. Conservatory Archives (South Hackney)

This place is a bit out of the way from central London but if you happen to go to this area (it’s got some really cute and trendy shops and the brunch spot Palm Vaults isn’t far from it), I recommend stopping in. Especially if you’re a plant fan.

I hope you enjoyed these recommendations and I will have more posts up soon! As always feel free to reach out to me on social media if you want to give me some of your favorite places to check out.
