I WANT IT THAT WAY by Ann Aguirre
Nadia Conrad has big dreams, and she’s determined to make them come true. But between maintaining her college scholarship and working at the local day care to support herself, dating’s the last thing on her mind. Then she moves into a new apartment and meets the taciturn yet irresistible guy in 1B….
Daniel Tyler has grown up too fast. Becoming a single dad at twenty turned his life upside down—and brought him heartache he can’t risk again. Now, as he raises his four-year-old son while balancing a full-time construction management job and night classes, the last thing he wants is noisy students living in the apartment upstairs. But one night, Nadia’s and Ty’s paths cross, and soon they can’t stay away from each other.
The timing is all wrong—but love happens when it happens. And you can’t know what you truly need until you stand to lose it.

Since it’s Labor Day weekend and I’m out of town I’ll make this review short and sweet!
I WANT IT THAT WAY was funny, sexy, romantic, and oh-so-very sweet. It’s a story about finding love at the most inappropriate of times.
When Ty and Nadia meet, Nadia is immediately attracted to him, and although the insta-love Nadia feels towards Ty soon after was not my favorite part about this book, I also feel everything worked out extremely well in the end, insta-love included.
Not only did I love down-to-earth and caring Nadia, and Mr. Hot Ginger Ty, but I also ADORED the secondary characters in this novel. They were funny and each one of them was unique and the relationship Nadia had with each one of them was extremely enjoyable!
The relationship between Ty and Nadia was very, very hot and sexy and almost had that rom-com feel to it which I loved! The way their story is written is unique and Ann Aguirre did an AMAZING job when plotting it. I also adored the relationship between Sam and Nadia and totally wish we could have seen more Ty, Sam, and Nadia moments! <3
Everything in this novel, even some of the things I didn’t like, such as the insta-love, ended up coming together so well in the end. I don’t know how to explain it, but it felt like even the parts I did not enjoy so much, in the end, were necessary and they just made the story complete.
Overall, I WANT IT THAT WAY was a novel that kept me reading, wondering what would happen next, laughing, and smiling. I really enjoyed this novel and I can not wait to read the next book in this series! <3
